The technique used is that of the Turkish knot, also called "ghiordes" or symmetrical.
The materials used are poor cotton for warp and twisted cotton for knots.

The texture refers to a carpet by Richard Lisker designed for the Weissenhof district, built in Stuttgart in 1927, on the occasion of the exhibition organized by the Deutscher Werkbund.

The artifacts of the past are considered a patrimony of forms and ideas in continuous evolution that are projected in the contemporary and in the near future. In this sense, the Weissenhofsiedlung with its interiors and its objects represents the new course of modernity: industrial objects and mass production. A central subject is the dialectical relationship between industry and craftsmanship that has accompanied the evolution of design and that today, between innovative technologies and exceptional know-how, represents not only a new perspective in Italy.
